Collagen is the skin’s scaffolding, it helps to support other tissues and blood vessels and holds the skin together.

The LTC™ Advanced Intense Pulsed Light technology produces a light that eliminates superficial sings of ageing, including fine lines, sun damage, pigmentation, thread veins, rosacea, freckles, age spots and enlarged pores. This treatment is suitable for patients who are seeking a non-invasive, minimal risk solution to smoother, more youthful looking skin.
The light is absorbed by the pigmented areas where it is converted into heat, causing the breakup of the pigment without damaging the surrounding tissue. In broken capilliaries and spider veins, the light is absorbed by the pigment in the blood generating heat that collapses the vein. The light heats up the lower layers of the skin producing collagen that stimulates a healing response. This acts as a new foundation for the skin, reducing wrinkles and improving skin tone.
A large number of clinical trails have proven that the method efficiently flattens lines and wrinkles by increasing the thickness of the collagen layer. The increase in collagen production takes place during a period of 8 – 10 weeks and lasts for up to 12 months after the last treatment.
The Treatment
A cold gel is applied to the area to be treated. After which the sapphire crystal waveguide is gently applied to the skin and pulses of light are applied.
You should feel no more than the light tingling sensation. The treatment is also extremely fast and an area of the face such as the cheeks may take less than 5 minutes to treat whilst the full face may take just 20 minutes.
This treatment produces a remarkable facelift alternative by gently lifting facial laxity lines, plumping up crease and wrinkle lines by stimulating new collagen production, smoothing lines around the mouth, forehead and eyes and clearing the skin of imperfections. The treatments are very affordable compared to other more invasive procedures. The Science | Medical Micro-dermabrsion Laser Treatment
Our advanced Microdermabrasion, Laser Therapy and Ultrasound treatment involves an advanced form of deep skin exfoliation, encouraging skin renewal, gently and uniformly removing the superficial layers from the epidermal level without damage, revealing the fresher, more youthful skin beneath. Epidermis renewal usually occurs within four and five days. The Laser stimulates the production of fresh young skin cells and collagen, promoting new collagen growth.
The Treatment
The procedure is performed by passing a hand held device that uses a highly controlled flow of fine, medical grade crystals over the skin. You should feel no more than a sharp scratching sensation. After which the Laser technology is applied.
After the treatment, if the treatment has been gentle not the slightest amount of redness is apparent. For some deeper treatments the surface treated may have some spots of blood. Inflammation (active redness) is a consequence of fibroblast collagen resulting in more elastic skin. The depth of the pressure applied is at the professional’s discretion and may vary from treatment to treatment. The advantage of this treatment is that above all it works in harmony with, and respects the biological structure of the skin tissue.
Epidermis renewal usually occurs within four and five days depending on the length of the treatment or depth of abrasion, leaving a space of about five to six days between treatments. After each treatment it is best to apply only professionally recommended products, to accelerate the skin tissue repair, and avoid any irritation or side effects.
With repeated treatments you will notice a steady improvement in skin texture and appearance. Improvement is sometimes evident from the first couple of treatments and continues throughout the treatment program.
