Ensuring that you benefit from the best possible permanent results in the minimum time.

Laser resurfacing treatment

Laser therapy is an incredibly effective way to reduce the appearance of scars on the skin. There are two kinds of laser treatments that you can get depending on your skin and the severity of your scars. These two types are called ablative lasers and non-ablative lasers, we’ll delve into the differences below.

Ablative lasers: These kinds of lasers penetrate the skin and remove the top layer of it. The goal is by removing the top layer, new skin cells are encouraged to grow. The aim is that the new skin grows smooth and healthy over the scar tissue, reducing the appearance of your scars.

Non-ablative lasers: This second kind of laser therapy does not remove the top layer but instead gently heats up the skin to promote collagen production. Collagen is a protein that helps give the skin a tighter, smoother appearance. This kind of laser treatment works best on mild scarring.

One of our skincare professionals will assess your skin before deciding on which kind of laser treatment will work best for you.

Microneedling and radio frequency (RF)

This popular fractional skin treatment works with Radio Frequency (RF), promoting the production of collagen and elastin, to achieve smoother and healthier looking skin. Microneedling works by penetrating the deeper layers of the skin in order to achieve a renewed appearance. This treatment is incredibly effective at treating self harm scars, and also very safe too.

The Derma White treatment

The final treatment on this list is our Derma White treatment. This gentle treatment is exclusively offered here at our Harley Street clinic.

The Derma White treatment works in a similar way to a chemical peel, but instead uses all natural herbs, vitamins, and enzymes. It’s applied to the problem area like a peel, making it a non-invasive treatment. This treatment works for a wide variety of skin concerns, including reducing the appearance of scars.
