Concealing active acne: once you have the techniques, check the products

It is important to think about the types of cosmetics you use as well the techniques you need to use to apply them. If you suffer from acne-prone skin you will need to use non-comedogenic products that are designed to leave clogs unblocked.

Some cases of active acne can actually be worsened by certain types of make-up that leave the skin irritated and congested. While you can find lists of ingredients that are thought to be comedogenic, there is also the opinion that you cannot predict the effect that a product will have on your skin until you try it.

If you suffer from acne, you should take a look at what you are using on your skin. Pay careful attention when you introduce a new cosmetic product or stop using an old one and take note of any changes to the condition of your skin.
