Don’t let acne influence your future

Rob Brydon, the popular Welsh comedian and actor, star of popular sitcom Gavin and Stacey, blames scars from his childhood acne for his inability to get TV jobs at a certain point in his career.

Instead, he found himself shunted behind the cameras and had to make do with voice-over work. He eventually found an acne treatment that was effective, although he still has some scars.

Active acne can prove to be a terrible affliction, whether those affected are in the public eye or not. While it is not dangerous, it can affect the way that people react to those who have moderate or severe problems.
It is terribly important to deal promptly with acne outbreaks, both in order to control the active and painful spots, and to keep any scarring to an absolute minimum.

Laser acne treatment can help improve the appearance of skin affected by outbreaks by eliminating the bacteria responsible for inflammation and infection in the first place. The laser also stimulates the skin’s natural healing process, which will help it to recover a smoother, healthier appearance.

Scars, too, can be treated effectively using a combination of microdermabrasion and laser therapy, to remove damaged layers of skin and encouraging the body to produce new skin cells.
