How to rid yourself of thread veins

Thread veins can cause real problems. They appear as red, purple or blue lines that are clearly visible through the skin. Although they can affect any part of the body, they are most likely to appear on the face or legs, which makes them difficult to disguise or camouflage.

Makeup can provide a temporary solution to this essentially cosmetic problem. Advanced Intense Pulsed Light therapy can, however, provide effective longer-term thread vein removal that deals with the problem at its root.
This treatment uses the haemoglobin in the blood for a highly targeted approach that is non-invasive and does not damage the surrounding tissue. The energy from the light is absorbed by the haemoglobin and turned into heat.

Once the blood within the dilated vessel reaches 60-70°C, it starts to denature the cells that line the vein wall. Eventually, the vessel collapses and disintegrates, and the body is able to remove the fragments left behind.
As a result, the vein is destroyed, and the lines that showed through the skin begin to fade away. The treatment itself is very fast, with an area the size of cheeks taking just five minutes.
