Are you annoyed because of the excessive growth of hair on different parts of your body? This particular condition can prove to be embarrassing for some people. Sometimes excessive hair growth can also lead to confidence issues. Laser hair removal is the best solution for this condition.

You might be apprehensive before the surgery. However, the procedure is completely safe and almost painless. You will have to prepare prior to the treatment, so if this is your first laser treatment procedure here are some tips to help you:

Avoid using skin lotions and deodorants

If you are about to undergo the laser treatment procedure in your underarm area then it is advisable that you stop using skin lotions and deodorants in this area for at least 3 weeks before the procedure.

Some lotions can interfere with the treatment. This means you should not use lotions and deodorants for at least two weeks after the treatment.

Shave the area

You will have to shave the area that needs treatment before the day of the appointment. Similarly, you should avoid tanning the affected area. Make a mental note that you should never wax an area which is going to be treated.

Keep these useful pointers in mind before your laser hair removal session.
